One on One Online Tutoring
Primarily for students following a curriculum developed by a school system, The College Board, or a homeschool service.
Help with assignments, following instructions for at home laboratory work, assistance with understanding concepts etc.
Curriculum Development/Implementation
Virtually meet with Families to develop a science or math curriculum. Families can then decide to implement that curriculum on their own, or set up tutoring sessions. Tutoring sessions can be set up either with an adult from the family who will later be instructing students, or directly with students. Curricula will be developed with the following guidelines:
Whenever possible curricula will follow the Next Generation Science Standards by grade level.
Hands on experiments will be the cornerstone of all curricula.
Taking into account the community of each family, access to resources, data, local ecosystems etc will be an important consideration for individualized curricula.
Families can decide on how many units/topics/months of instruction they would like developed.
Curricula can also be developed to enhance materials provided by schools or other institutions.
For homeschool students, appropriate documentation for submission to school districts will be provided.
